Somewhere, an older woman pressed a tissue to her mouth. A man in the third row covered his face with both hands. Young women held each other. Children watched in wide, wordless silence.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

And then \u2014 one person began to clap. Then another. Then the entire hall rose to its feet in a wave, applauding not out of pity, not out of spectacle \u2014 but out of the overwhelming, undeniable recognition of something real.<\/em><\/p>\n\n\n\n
